Performance

I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele, and bassoon. I am classically trained and have a wealth of orchestral and ensemble playing on both bassoon and piano, including stints with Nairobi Orchestra and Berlin Jazz Orchestra. I can also play accordion and clarinet. Much of my composition work for theatre has involved me playing live as part of the show.

I have also worked as an arranger for choir, and various sizes of band/chamber groups. For commissions please e-mail me.

I have created and directed two original projects over the years to much critical acclaim.

QUIZCATS - a live band karaoke band. Our public nights built up a cult following (particularly for our Disney themed event, Quizney) and we also performed for a range of corporate and private events. As of 2018 we are available for private bookings only. "a dream event" - Time Out

WOLF PACK - an award-winning performance based collective which combined unique arrangements of contemporary classical and pop music with original works, physical theatre and elaborate staging and set design. Our concerts were all based around a single word theme. We won the Student Led Initiatives Award in 2012 from the University of London, premiered 12 new works and created 10 original shows during our 3 year existence. "Sodding brilliant" - Edge Music London

I studied Classical Music at Goldsmiths and Advanced Performance at Royal Holloway, both University of London. I focused on contemporary classical performance, orchestration, and music for film and theatre. In 2012 I became the youngest ever academic speaker at Senate House (as part of the M(o)ther Russia symposium, and in association with the Centre for Russian Music in London).
